The mo.blaze ice appears very neutral and inconspicuous thanks to the transparent glass body, made of scratch-resistant plastic. The small billet aluminum base is available black anodized or mirror polished.
The turn signal adapts to all styles, paint finishes and the most diverse motorcycles. Thanks to TranzLight-Technology® (TLT, patent pending) from motogadget, the transparent body of the turn signal itself becomes the light medium. TranzLight-Technology® skilfully uses the total reflection of light waves. This progressive development approach is not limited to simply miniaturizing the turn signal housings, but shapes the light directly through a crystal-like glass body. Only precise optical CAD calculations and cutting-edge manufacturing processes make this new design and its function possible. The luminous flux necessary for the TranzLight principle is generated by the intensiLED® process developed by motogadget and consists of three important pillars:
Specially selected phosphor-converted high-power LED with maximum efficiency and a total power of 3W with a lifespan of more than 50,000 hours
An IC-controlled constant current source clocked at 330kHz.
A special collimator optics, which couples the wide-scattering light of the LED into the glass body with millimeter precision
An important aspect of TranzLight technology is the safety advantage due to the improved visibility of the flashing signal. The light is emitted at an angle of almost 180° and is therefore visible from the front, back and sides. The surface flasher is mechanically decoupled from the mounting thread by a flexible absorber and is therefore protected from vibrations and mechanical effects. The flasher can be operated with load resistors or with all of our load-independent flasher relays (mo.flash, mo.wave, mo.stop, mo.relay+), just like any conventional LED flasher. The mo.blaze ice surface-mount flasher presented here has the E-mark and is approved as a front and rear flasher.
